Davido, the acclaimed Afrobeat artist, has conveyed a message to the public in response to reports of the birth of twins to him and his wife, Chioma.

Utilizing the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Davido cautioned against the circulation of old pictures featuring himself and Chioma in a hospital bed during the birth of their late son, Ifeanyi. He tweeted, "Kindly refrain from sharing outdated photos. Thank you."

News circulated on Tuesday that Davido and Chioma had, allegedly, become parents to twins. Although the couple has not yet officially confirmed this news, Davido added fuel to the speculation by alluding to his wife as 'Mama Ibeji' (mother of twins) in his song titled 'In The Garden,' which features Morravey. Moreover, he had also tweeted on Sunday, expressing that this week would be the most remarkable in his life.

His brother, Adewale Adeleke further fueled the rumors as he gave thanks to God on Twitter.

Though not revealing further, he tweeted, “We thank God”.

Also fueling the rumors more, music executive, Ovie stated that he had confirmed the news.

Congratulating the couple, he noted how God gave them double blessings.
