Nollywood actor and reality TV personality, Uti Nwachukwu, recently had a surprising encounter with a vintage photograph of himself alongside Angel Smith, a former contestant from Big Brother Naija. It turns out that Angel, who is now 23 and a writer, was among the children who took snapshots with Uti after his victory in the 'All Stars' edition of Big Brother Africa back in 2010.

To jog your memory, Uti initially participated in Big Brother Africa season 3 in 2008 but was evicted as the third housemate. However, he made a triumphant return for the all-stars season, where he endured for 91 days and eventually emerged victorious in a closely contested final vote of 8 to 7, defeating Munya Chidzonga.

Intriguingly, Angel, who had been present at the grand finale show of that season, was one of the young admirers who had the opportunity to take photographs with Uti. Fast forward a few years, and Angel herself entered the revamped Big Brother Naija show in 2021, returning for the All-Stars season in 2023 as well.

Uti stumbled upon this throwback image featuring him and Angel, and he took to the microblogging platform X to express his astonishment at the fact that he had crossed paths with Angel long before she gained widespread fame.

The 41-year-old actor and TV host wrote: “Woow so Angel and I go waaaay back? Omoooo this life ehnnnnn. Awwww look at that!”
