The highly debated concert featuring Burna Boy, the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian superstar, has been officially called off.

After news broke that the concert had been rescheduled to December 16 due to poor ticket sales, Burna Boy's name recently became a prominent topic on social media.

Burna Boy's much-anticipated concert will no longer take place in Mzansi this year. The event, initially slated for September 23 at FNB Stadium, had to be postponed due to disappointing ticket sales.

Now, it has been confirmed that the Burna Boy show has been canceled, as per a tweet from the renowned entertainment blogger Phil Mphela. The tweet mentioned that TicketPro had halted all ticket sales for the concert.

The post stated:. “Burna Boy concert now officially cancelled. Cited are “ inability for the promoters to fulfil their contractual, financial, production and technical obligations”

“Production vendors had apparently not been paid on time. “Management conceded that the agreed production standard needed for the venue size could not be achieved. TicketPro has seized all sales of tickets to the concert.”
