Davido, the well-known Nigerian vocalist whose real name is David Adeleke, has opened up about his recent sleep troubles following the untimely passing of his fellow artist, Mohbad, on Tuesday, September 12.

Through a sequence of Instagram Stories posts, the DMW leader revealed that Mohbad's spirit seems to be lingering, as it has been affecting his ability to rest peacefully. He mentioned that he has been experiencing sleep disturbances since learning of the tragic news.

Furthermore, he shared his intention to return to Nigeria to attend Mohbad's candlelight procession and tribute night, which is scheduled for Thursday, September 21.

“Mohbad ur spirit strong oo.. sleep come hard me
On the way,” the 30-year-old singer wrote.

The singer had previously sent a sum of N2 million to the late singer’s family following his sudden death.
