Nigerian artist Davido has taken a courageous step by introducing fellow singer Shallipopi to his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who holds the position of governor in Osun state.

Shallipopi, whose birth name is Crown Uzama and was born on April 12, 2000, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, embarked on his musical journey in 2018. His initial breakthrough came with a TikTok freestyle that rapidly gained viral traction, leading to the expansion of his fanbase.

In 2021, he released his debut single titled "Gra Gra," which not only garnered success but also firmly established his presence within the Nigerian music scene. Subsequently, he released several more singles, including "Elon Musk," "Move Your Body," and "Assurance."

His musical approach harmoniously blends afrobeat, R&B, and hip-hop components, characterized by engaging melodies and his distinctive vocal style.
