Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri, experienced a surge of emotions when she woke up to view her latest film. Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two shared that she found herself in tears halfway through the movie.

Explaining the cause, Ruth revealed that witnessing her own portrayal of pain and vulnerability moved her to tears, causing her to be unable to complete the film.

She encouraged fans who might feel similarly emotional to take a pause, go for a walk, and then resume watching the movie.

She earnestly requested them to see the movie through to the end on her behalf. In addition, the filmmaker offered a heartfelt prayer for the healing of those who have been hurt.

“I woke up this morning! To watch my upload for tomorrow!!

Halfway into the movie I burst into tears! Watching myself hurt and broken made me cry!! I couldn’t finish it! I beg! When you watch and you’re in tears! Pause the film! Take a stroll and come back and finish it! For my sake try and finish!!!
