Mercy Eke, a contestant on Big Brother Naija, secured the coveted Head of House (HOH) position for the week following a highly competitive battle.

The HOH challenge involved a sand and seesaw game, where participants aimed to drop sand piles into their opponent's empty box.

In the initial round, six housemates advanced to the next stage: Pere, Doyin, Mercy Eke, Adekunle, Soma, and NeoEnergy. Pere's seesaw tilted first, while Adekunle was disqualified for rule violation and Soma's seesaw tipped in the opposite direction.

Amidst some chaos during the second HOH game, three contenders—Mercy Eke, Doyin, and NeoEnergy—proceeded to the third round. Ultimately, Mercy Eke emerged as the winner of the head-of-house game, following the final round of the sand and seesaw challenge.

Furthermore, another housemate, Alex Unusual, was granted immunity from eviction this week after discovering one of the concealed black envelopes within the lounge.

This comes after Alex and Tolanibaj found a black envelope after the buzzer sounded. However, Tolanibaj’s envelope contains a “better luck next time”.
