Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant Venita Akpofure has opened up about the traumatic experiences she endured in her past. Venita shared that her biological father and her husband, Terna Tarka, were both responsible for subjecting her to physical abuse.

Speaking with her love interest, Adekunle, in the Biggie's backyard, Venita recounted her painful memories.

She revealed that her father used to push her down the stairs and assault her with sharp objects, leaving her outside the house for extended periods.

Despite the distressing memories, Venita mentioned that during her introduction, her father expressed remorse for his past abusive behavior while under the influence of alcohol.

According to the reality TV star, her father was strict and might have believed he was correcting her, but in his speech at her wedding, he acknowledged that only she out of all his children had ever been physically abused.
