Kemi Afolabi popular Nigerian Nollywood actress has announced that the money she had complained about, which was withheld by her bank, has been returned.

The Nollywood actress took to social media over the weekend to express her frustration over the bank’s refusal to release the sum of N510,000 that she had erroneously transferred to a customer.

Afolabi, a prominent figure in the Yoruba movie industry, used her social media platform to seek assistance from her followers, urging them to tag the bank in her post.

Afolabi emphasized the power of social media and how it can influence change. Her cry for help resonated with her online supporters, leading to a significant response.

Following the online outcry, Afolabi provided an update on Tuesday, expressing her gratitude to her online supporters for their overwhelming response.

She informed her followers that her bank had resolved the issue and refunded her the withheld money.

She wrote;
