Almost a year after his movie, Anikulapo was rejected by the Oscars, Nigerian actor, producer, and director Kunle Afolayan has gotten an invitation to join its academy members.

Sharing the good news on his Instagram page, Kunle Afolayan expressed gratitude for the invitation.

He noted how it is another opportunity for him to serve.

“Another opportunity to serve. Shola Dada the writer of Roti and Anikulapo the movie and the forthcoming series is also a new member.
