Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial Nigerian journalist, blogger, and activist has sparked a significant online reaction by claiming that veteran Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has been replaced as an ambassador for Life Continental Lager Beer by his colleague.

In a recent Facebook post, the journalist alleged that Yul Edochie was removed from his ambassadorship position and replaced by his colleague, Frederick Leonard, due to perceived controversies surrounding Edochie’s marriage.

Adding to this, she noted that Fredrick Leonard was selected because the brand needed a public figure who will sell them positively with being surrounded by dramas.

Her post read:

“Life Larger Beer removes Yul Edochie as their brand ambassador, crowns a new well mannered Fedrick Leonard as the new ambassador.

“Congratulations to Fredrick Leonard. In PR brands factor in what can sell them positively not drama and hatred with their ambassadors.”

Netizens reacted to the journalists without surprise and many showed support.

Recall that, there has been a lot of drama surrounding Yul Edochie’s marriage to Judy Austin, which so many Celebrities have reacted to, claiming the duo is simply seeking online attention from netizens.
