The organizers behind the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards have been criticized for failing to recognize certain actors each year, such as Yul Edochie Junior Pope Destiny Etiko and others.

The AMVCA held its ninth event between 18-20 May 2023 in Eko Hotels, Lagos.

A Twitter user named @Ssonofman used the microblogging site to highlight how Multichoice doesn't pay attention to certain Nollywood celebrities.

“Destiny Etiko and Eze Ndiala no de ever win AMVCA award. Why?” the user wrote.



This was followed by a series of reactions, some of which justified the reasons while others corroborated the claims.
