Jelani Maraj who is an elder brother to the award winning rapper, Nicki Minaj's was convicted of felony sexual assault against an underage step-daughter on Thursday November 9th in Long Island, New York.

TMZ reports that Maraj sets to face 25-years in prison and he was also convicted for endangering the welfare of a child. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 14.

The underage girl who was 11 at the time of the alleged offense, was the daughter of Maraj's then-wife Jacqueline Robinson, making her Maraj's stepdaughter. The girl, who is now 14, testified during the trial, as did her younger brother.

Police said they found Maraj's semen on the woman's pajamas, but the defense claimed the girl and her mother planted the evidence.
Maraj's lawyer also claimed the mom and daughter attempted to shake down Maraj and his high-profile sister for $25 million.
