Saint Obi, the veteran Nollywood actor who has been battling an unknown illness for several months, reportedly passed away on May 7, 2023.

An anonymous resident said that Obi died on Sunday, and his body had been deposited in JUTH Mortuary following a visit to the residence of his sister at 13 Metropolitan Street Tudun Wada Jos.

Saint Obi had relocated to Jos, the capital of Plateau State, where his sister resides, and was frequently seen being transported to the hospital, as confirmed by a source at JUTH.

Obinna Nwafor, also known as Saint Obi, was a well-known actor from Imo State. While it is unclear why the news is being kept under wraps, multiple sources have confirmed that he has indeed passed away.
