Controversial Nigerian rapper, Phyno in his recent interview with Hip Tv has come out to drop the "rapper" title, to embrace the name of "musician" which allows him enlarge his songs, without any criticism from the hip-hop fans.

His words:

“Yeah, i blew up as a rapper, but before i blow up. I was a producer for up to 8 to 9 years, so don’t call me a rapper. Call me a musician, I know music. If i feel like singing, i will sing, If i feel like rapping, i will rap” he says.
