Bimbo Ademoye (Nollywood actress) recently shared her thoughts about her role in the new Nollywood movie, "Gangs of Lagos".

Ademoye expressed excitement at receiving the script, particularly since she had worked previously with the producer on "Sugar Rush," which was an amazing experience.

This led to her delaying reading the script and believing that the film was going to be great.

However, after eventually reading the script, Ademoye discovered that she had been cast as Teni, a character she did not expect.

Ademoye initially thought she would play Gift because she could relate to the character. To ensure there were no mistakes, she double-checked each character's name and cast to make sure they were correct.

She further made some calls to confirm the casting, but she was assured that it was correct.

The producers informed her that, since people would expect her to play a role like Gift, they decided to give her a different role that fans would least expect her to play.

Ademoye, therefore, took on the challenge, portraying Teni’s character to the best of her ability.
