Young music star, Rema has revealed that he has ditched his UNILAG admission and is focusing fully on his music.

You may recall that the 22-year-old musician revealed to us that he was admitted to the University of Lagos to fulfill his mother's wishes for him to finish his education.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), however, went on strike for 7 months strike.

The singer who never returned to begin his education at the institution has finally opened up on his reasons for not doing so.

In a recent interview, he said that he had made the decision to quit because the university was on strike.

This left the white host surprised as he apparently hasn’t heard of universities going on strike.

Speaking further, Rema said that it was beginning to seem awkward for him to juggle both schooling and touring, so he had to dump school and focus on his music career fully.
