Tonto Dikeh, Nollywood actress and politician, is ready for the 2023 gubernatorial election scheduled to take place on 11 March.

The mother of one, who is also the Deputy Governorship candidate in Rivers State for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), posted a photo of her with her bags packed. She revealed that she is thinking about the date for the gubernatorial election and a leadership mindset.

She wrote, "Movement...March 11th on my mind." Leadership mindset ..."

We are reminded that Tonto Dikeh was nominated for the position of deputy governorship candidate in Rivers State by the African Democratic Congress.

Tonte Ibraye, governorship candidate of ADC made the announcement on his Instagram page on Friday, 24th June 2022.⁣

The announcement reads: “After series of consultations with leaders of our party the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Rivers State and the national level, I’m glad to announce Amb. Tonto Dikeh ( tontolet )as my running mate for the 2023 gubernatorial election in Rivers State,” he wrote.⁣

“We are pleased to welcome her to the #RiversRescueMission2023 as we strive to improve the standard of living for everyone in our dear Rivers State. Please join our press conference at 11 am today. #TonteTonto2023.”⁣
