Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has taken legal action against Revolution Plus Property Development Company Limited, in order to dissociate herself from the brand.

In a statement shared on her Instagram page, along with legal documents from her lawyers, Toyin explained that her contract with the company as a brand ambassador had been terminated and the need to distance herself from the brand was paramount.

According to Toyin, despite initial promises made by the company, she was still receiving numerous messages, complaints, and pleas from investors who claimed they had not been allocated any land or refunded their money.

Some of these investors also claimed that Toyin's representation of the company as a brand ambassador had led them to invest their money in the company. This harassment and pressure caused Toyin to stop promoting the company on her social media platforms and ultimately led her to send a mail to the company on June 15th, 2022, notifying them of her intent to terminate her contract as a brand ambassador.

However, after the company reached out to her and promised to address the allegations, Toyin sent another mail on June 17th, 2022, canceling her notice of intent to terminate her contract as a brand ambassador.

Despite these efforts, the harassment and pressure continued and Toyin's integrity was being questioned daily. As a result, she received a "Notice of Termination of Brand Ambassadorship" letter from the company's legal team on December 22nd, 2022, effectively terminating her contract with them on grounds of reduced affection and a reluctant approach towards publicly identifying with the brand.

In her statement, Toyin emphasized that she had conducted her due diligence and was personally convinced about the genuineness of the company before signing a contractual agreement in July 2020 to become a brand ambassador for the company.

She also stressed that throughout the duration of her contract, she carried out her duties with "utmost loyalty, diligence, integrity, and excellence," which are the core values she stands for.

In conclusion, it is clear that Toyin Abraham took the decision to dissociate herself from Revolution Plus Property Development Company Limited due to the numerous complaints and allegations from investors, who claimed that the company had not allocated lands or refunded their money.

Despite her initial efforts to address the situation, the harassment and pressure continued, leading Toyin to take legal action in order to protect her reputation and integrity.
