One die, four injured after truck fell on cars in Lagos by D1ANA(f) : 1:02 pm On Dec 23, 2022 |
 According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, (LASEMA), one person was killed on thursday, December 22nd when a truck crashed on vehicles at Cele bus stop inward mile 2. The accident also injured four others. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, provided an update in a statement. A MACK truck carrying twin 20ft containers was involved in the accident alongside theses other vehicles: Volkswagen bus, a Highlander SUV, and a Toyota RAV4. Oke-Osanyintolu stated that the truck driver lost control of the truck and collided directly with the vehicles in front. He said: "An adult male, the bus driver, lost his life while four injured victims - three males and one female - have been transported to hospital." The Official confirmed that the body of the deceased was handed over to the family. |
