The Edo police command has paraded five suspected kidnappers.

Following an intelligence report on suspected kidnappers who entered Ogoja Camp (also known as Ford Camp in the Kamafua ii community) with the intent to kidnap one head of the camp, the suspects were identified as Christopher Aiyegbeni, 29; Matthew Osayande, 32

They were able to recover one double-barrel and one single-barrel gun, as well as two pump-action guns equipped with cartridges.

The commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed A. Dankwara, who commended the operatives, the community, and the vigilante group over their effort in arresting the kidnappers, urged residents of the state to give helpful information to the police in the campaign against criminals and their activities in the state.
