Monday, December 26th, Tuesday, December 27th, 2022, and Monday, January 2nd, 2023 as public holidays to mark Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day celebrations respectively.

This information was made public by Ogbeni Raf Aregbesola, Minister of Interior, in a statement signed on Friday by Dr. Shuaib Bere, on behalf of the Federal Government.

Aregbesola wished Christians and all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora a happy Christmas and New Year. He encouraged Christians to follow the teachings of Christ in faith and hope, as well as love.
