Abubakar Ismail, site manager of Kebna ICT JAMB CentreZuru, Kebbi State has been arrested by police after he allegedly stole 83 HP laptops which belong to the centres.

Ahmed Magaji Kontagora (Commissioner of Police) told reporters on Tuesday, December 13 that the site manager had stolen the laptops and sold them at N40,000 each to Chukwudi Otutu of Otutu Computer Centre, Sokoto.

After Dr Michael Ezra Dikki uncovered the theft, it was reported to the police.

Kontagora said;

"On receipt of the complaint, a team of policemen swung into action and succeeded in arresting the suspect and recovered 76 pieces of the stolen laptops."

Investigation into the incident has commenced and the suspect would soon be charged.
