Talking intimacy doesn’t make one a prostitute — Destiny Amaka by D1ANA(f) : 12:34 pm On Dec 03, 2022

Destiny Amaka, an actress and media personality believes that speaking out about s*x doesn't make a woman a prostitute.

Reacting to the notion held by some people that any lady who is outspoken about sexual matters is promiscuous

Speaking with Saturday beats, she said: “I stopped listening to people because it wasn’t allowing me to focus on what I needed to do. It is not everybody that would like what one does. However, one must always be true to oneself. At a point, it felt like I was like restricting myself, and I was not feeling free. I know I am not a prostitute, and I also know I that had beautiful home training. Every day, I wake up to see messages of the same people that are bashing me, asking for my help. That made me know that some people are hypocrites.

“I counsel people on issues that have to do with sexual intimacy. It is actually an area that is not given enough attention. There are many people out there who are not satisfying their spouses. And things like that contribute to the break-up of marriages.”

Amaka stated that many people are in relationships today for the for benefits they can enjoy. A few weeks ago, she posted a message on social media asking people to avoid any relationship that doesn't give them butterflies in their tummy. Many comments claimed that she was speaking that way because she was comfortable.

She said, “It is sad that these days, we seem to be breeding more of prostitutes and pimps. Most of the comments I saw said I was talking that way because I’m rich. On the day I made that post, I was thinking of the old school type of love. I forgot that I was in a country where many people go into relationships for what they can gain, and not because of love.”
