Court nullifies Osun LG polls by D1ANA(f) : 1:22 pm On Nov 25, 2022 |
 On Friday, a Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State, nullified the last October 15 local government elections conducted by the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission. Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel ruled that the election was in violation of Sections 29 &32 of the Electoral Act 2022. The Peoples Democratic Party approached the court to ask it to stop OSIEC's planned polls. Other respondents in the matter include INEC, APC, and its former chairman, Adeboyega Famoodun.
