One Mustapha Muhammed alias Muaspaha Naaira was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) an alleged currency speculator.

Wilson Uwujaren (EFCC spokesperson), on Tuesday, November 15 stated that the arrest was part of its ongoing effort to sanitize foreign exchange and eliminate all kinds of economic saboteurs.

Operatives from the Commission picked up the suspect at Wuse Zone 4, which is the hub for parallel market operations in Federal Capital Territory, on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

During the ongoing investigation, the suspect made a useful statement.
