A Federal High Court in the State has confirmed Uba Sani as the governorship candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC), for the 2023 elections in Kaduna.

Sani Sha'aban filed the lawsuit claiming that the primary election which produced Sani as APC Governorship Candidate for the 2023 elections was null and void.

He also claimed that the election was not legal and that no delegates were elected. However, he also said that there was manipulation of delegates and that they were substituted from local governments and wards.

Justice Mohammed Garba ruled in favor of dismissing the case on grounds that the court did not have the jurisdiction to hear it. Justice Mohammed Garba stated that the matter is a party matter and not one pertaining to post-election matters.
