Reports say that gunmen abducted the wife of Commander, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Commandant General's Special Intelligence Squad and Deputy Commandant Apollos Daura.

She was taken hostage at their residence at B. A road in Lafia, by gunmen armed with AK-47s, who shot sporadically to terrorize residents of the area.

The younger brother of the Commander, also a personnel of the NSCDC was also shot in the incident at Lafia. He is currently being treated at an undisclosed facility.

Daily Trust reported that the incident took place on Wednesday, November 2nd around 8:30 pm.

The victim's whereabouts are still unknown, according to Jerry Victor, Public Relations Officer at the Nasarawa State Command NSCDC.

The command already sent its personnel to the scene to save the victim. It was also discovered that the kidnappers are yet to reach out to the command and the family of the victim.
