 Eight Nigerian women were arrested in Libya over alleged prostitution involvement. Migrant Rescue Watch reports that police raided a Kufra district and arrested the women on charges of prostitution. A Nigerian man said to be a pimp was also arrested during the raid. "Police following an investigation and Public Prosecutor's warrant raided a house in Kufra and arrested nine migrants including 8 females of Nigerian nationality on charges of prostitution. All transferred to the Security Directorate for legal action." the group said on Thursday, October 6, 2022. |
