President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mr. Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture announced the appointment on Wednesday, September 21st. This appointment is for a term of three years in the first instance.

Before his appointment, Mr. Dembos served as the Executive Director, Marketing, of the NTA. His career as a media professional spans over 20 years.

He was General Manager at two NTA Stations in Lokoja and Kano; and as Zonal Director, NTA, Kaduna, among other appointments.
