There are at least 25 different sexually transmitted diseases with a variety of various symptoms. These diseases could be spread through anal, vaginal and oral sex.

Most sexually transmitted diseases will only affect you if you you've got sexual contact with somebody who has an STD. However, there are a few infections, such as scabies, which can be known as STDs since they are most frequently transmitted sexually, but that may also be transferred in different ways.

Gonorrhea

Frequently called "the clap," gonorrhea is caused by the Neisseria gonorrhea bacteria. This bacteria are found in moist regions of the body such as the vagina, penis, eyes, throat, and anus. Infection may occur with contact with at least one of these regions. An infected individual may also disperse gonorrhea from 1 part of the body to another by touch. Gonorrhea can be spread through all kinds of sexual activities including vaginal, oral, and an*l intercourse. Gonorrhea could be passed to babies when their mother is infected when childbirth happens.

Though any sexually active person can get gonorrhea, it is most common among people from 15 to 30. Women who have vaginal s*x with an infected male possess a 60 to 90 percent likelihood of getting infected; while guys who have vaginal intercourse with an infected girl have a considerably lower 30 to 50 percent likelihood of getting infected with this sexually transmitted disease.

Symptoms of gonorrhea:
* abnormal bleeding
* a burning sensation during urination
* vaginal discharge
* general irritation of the outer area of the vagina

Dyspareunia

Dyspareunia is the clinical name for painful intercourse. The pain could be felt like burning, sharp, searing or cramping. It may be outside, inside the anus, or deep inside the pelvic area or abdomen.

Causes of Dyspareunia Are Multiple

The causes of dyspareunia, just like the majority of sexual dysfunction, may be categorized as either natural (physical or health aspects such as sickness, injury or medication impacts) or psychosocial (such as psychological, interpersonal, environmental and cultural factors). The reason behind a sexual malfunction in a particular individual might be a mixture of many aspects, and sometimes, the exact cause might not be recognizable in any way.
