 Three children were killed in a collapsed building at Jigawar Tsada Village in Dutse Local Government Area, Jigawa State. Due to heavy rains, the incident occurred on Thursday, September 8. Children were asleep when the building collapsed, and all the victims died instantly. The bodies of the girls were immediately removed from the rubbles and they were rushed to General Hospital Dutse. Unfortunately, all three of the girls were declared dead by a doctor. Farida Idi (6 years old), Mariya Idi (3 years old) and Bilkisu Yahaya (18 months) are the deceased. Their corpses were released to their relatives for burial according to Islamic rite. |

This issue of collapse building and loss of lives is becoming regular and disturbing. COREN should please wake up to their responsibility.
