Delta State Police public relations officer PRP, DSP Bright Edafe has clapped back at singer, Peter Okoye popularly known as King Rudy.

The other half of Psquare took to his Instagram story to slam the police force.

In the wake of Ice Prince’s arrest, Paul cited reasons why policemen often stop and enter vehicles.

Paul opined that the only reason why they would do such is because they are looking for an avenue to negotiate for a crime citizens did not commit.

Paul avowed that any policeman who enters his car, is either a criminal or kidnapper.

“The only reason a policeman will stop and enter you car is just because they are looking for an avenue to negotiate for a crime you did not commit. As long as a policeman enters my car and tells me to drive… He’s a CRIMINAL OR A KINAPPER”.

Hitting back at him, DSP Bright Edafe described him as a celebrity with no sense.

He twitted,

“Celebrities with no sense”.

News reported that Nigerian hip-hop recording artist, Ice Prince Zamani had been arrested for abduction and assaulting a Police officer on Friday, September 2.

This was made known by Benjamin Hundeyin, a Nigerian police superintendent and the incumbent Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command.

Taking to his Twitter platform, Hundeyin revealed how and when the veteran rapper was arrested.

He wrote: “At 3am today,

was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station. He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today.
Rapper Ice Prince arrested for driving without license plate and abducting a police officer. He would be arraigned today.”

The rapper was arraigned to a magistrate court and remanded in prison.

A magistrate court sitting in the Ajah area of Lagos had ordered his remand at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

The ‘Oleku’ crooner was arraigned before the court by the Lagos State Police Command on Friday on a three-count charge of assault, obstructing a policeman from carrying out his statutory duties and abduction.

When the counts were read to him, the defendant pleaded not guilty. Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi subsequently granted him bail in the sum of N500,000. He was also to furnish the court with 2 responsible sureties.

Pending when he meets the bail conditions, the magistrate ordered his remand and adjourned further proceedings in the case till September 7.
