American girl group, The Pussycat Dolls whom were at their prime time in early 2000 which is made up of Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, Kaya Jones, and Kimberly Wyatt are officially returning after eight years apart.

Their fans were treated to the good news after the band leader and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger announced on Monday by launching a official site ' PCD Reunion' and Instagram only 24 hours following rumours of a reunion first surfaced.

For now, the platforms only allows fans to sign up for their mailing list and to access an Instagram page which bears the same name.



According to the insider, the girls are excited about getting back together. However, they are not sure about what their routine will look like for now.

“Talk of the girls ­getting back together has been rife for a few years now and they have finally found a time which works for them all.

“They are still deciding whether it will involve a full tour or just a handful of performances but they are excited to be getting out there together again. The girls feel the time is right to let bygones be bygones and put any differences they had behind them and celebrate the great songs they made.”

The Pussycat Dolls group was founded in Los Angeles, California, by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque troupe. In 2003, it was turned into a music franchise.

The group's debut single, Don't Cha, was released in April 2005, topping the charts in 15 countries and selling over seven million copies worldwide.
