Nigeria’s Falconets stranded at Instabul Airport in Turkey by D1ANA(f) : 10:07 am On Aug 24, 2022 |
While returning from the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Nigeria, Nigeria's Falconets were pictured in distrubing photos, sleeping on floors and chairs at Istanbul Airport, Turkey. This is just 48 hours after the women were eliminated from the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica. The two times FIFA U20 Women's World Cup finalists left Costa Rica on Monday, August 22, at 6:30am (Nigerian Time). Upon their arrival in Turkey, the squad were left stranded at the Istanbul Airport for about 24 hours. |
