The 'Night of Tributes,' an event that was organized by the cast of the TV series, The Johnsons' in memory of Ada Ameh (lead actress) who passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. was a night of tears and tributes.

The event was held at Freedom Park in Lagos on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Lepacious Bose was the moderator while the duo of Dan D' Humourous and Senator livened up the occasion.

In his tribute to the late actress, veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, said, “I am so proud of her because God used me to give her the opportunity to be a star. Ada was such a wonderful person. At times, she would call me and ask me to send my account number. She would then send money and tell me to go and enjoy myself.”

A close friend of the actress and her character, Emu’s husband on ‘The Johnsons’, Charles Inojie, also eulogized her, while debunking reports that everybody in her family had died.

On his part, comedian, Koffi, praised actress, Empress Njamah, for being a good friend to the late actress.

Other celebrities at the event include Chinedu Ikedieze, Yaw, Jude Orhoha, African China, Tunji Shotimirin, Olumide Oworu and Joe Praize.
