News reported that Tems made a revelation concerning the old photo on social media when an old tweet by the singer surfaced online.

Tems remark to a tweet by a tweep in 2018 confirmed the photo as her mother.

She tweeted: “Lmao!! My mum!!”.

“Lmao feels so surreal to see my mum like this, what a spice”.

News recalls Tems had penned a touching tribute to all the senior female colleagues in the music industry.

The singer who made history as the first female Nigerian singer to win an international act award at BET Awards had penned an appreciation post.

Tems tweeted her appreciation to Tiwa Savage, Asa, Omawumi, Waje, Yemi Alade, Simi, Niniola, Ayra Starr, Temi, and many others for existing.

She noted how their decision to get up and do something inspired her, stating that anytime she saw them gracing the stage, she felt it was her.
