Also, rumour has it that he is preparing a new project, a first since 2013’s 'Magna Carta … Holy Grail' .

The rap mogul is currently number two on Forbes ‘Richest Men In Hip Hop’

Jay Z is planning on touring until he’s at least 57 judging by a 10-year deal with Live Nation he just signed that’s worth $200 million, according to Variety.

The publication says Live Nation will handle all of Jay Z‘s touring worldwide, and continue producing and promoting Hov’s performances.

It’s a deal similar to one the promoter made with Madonna in 2007 for $120 million.

Jigga explained in a statement why he has worked so well with the company and wanted to continue the partnership.

‘Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences.

‘[Live Nation president and chief executive officer] Michael Rapino is an industry visionary, and this renewed partnership is a testament to our longstanding relationship and the talented individuals at Live Nation.

‘For the next 10 years, we will continue redefining the live event landscape.’

While Jay Z hasn’t released an album since 2013’s Magna Carta … Holy Grail, rumour has it he is preparing a new project.
