Peter Obi, the Labour party presidential candidate, and Yusuf Datti Baba–Ahmed, his running mate, paid a visit to the Ota home of former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Sunday, July 17, ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Baba-Ahmed shared photos from the meeting via his Twitter account. It is possible that the visit will be used to gain more support and acceptance for their presidential ambitions.

Baba-Ahmed wrote;

“Earlier today, myself and H. E. #PeterObi in the company of other #NgLabour chieftains consulted with the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.”
