Deputy Governorship running mate in Lagos State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele have congratulated Senator, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke on his victory as the next Governor of Osun State. She took to her social media page to share lovely pictures of the Governor elect , and said indeed power has changed hands. The independent National Electoral Commission declared him today, Sunday 17 July, 2022 as the winner of the just concluded Governorship election in the State, with the total votes of 403,371 to defeat the incumbent Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of All Progressive Congress (APC), who polled 375,027 votes.


She described Adeleke has the light of Osun State and prayed that may God grant him good health and long life to achieve all his good intentions for the people of Osun. God bless you sir.

Recall that the actress had been picked as the running mate for the Governorship candidate, Jendor in Lagos State ahead of the upcoming Governorship election in the state.
