Two vandals were arrested by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), who had been erecting crash barriers on the overhead bridge that connects to the Lagos State Trade Fair.

Abdullateef Abdulrahim (22) and Aliyu lawan (16) were both arrested at Abule Oshun on Friday, July 15, with a pile already cut crash barriers.

Abdulrahim was found with a hacksaw and was arrested. He couldn't explain why he was using the tool at 3:00 AM.

CSP Yinka Egbeyemi was the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and had, in response to intelligence about crime in the area, directed one of the tactical teams from the squad to the area.

The suspects recovered a hacksaw and a pile of cut crash barriers.

CP Abiodun Alabi (Lago State Commissioner of Police) spoke out about the situation and directed that the case is transferred to the State CID in Panti for further investigation and prosecution.
