Just hours after Funke Akindele Bello revealed herself as the running-mate to the People's Democratic Party's governorship nominee in Lagos State, Dr. Olajide Adediran (popularly known as Jandor, a controversial actor), attacked her.

We reported Funke Akindele had confirmed her appointment, following speculations about her political career. She snubbed these speculations.

To confirm her selection as Jandor's running mate in the 2023 general election, the mother of two posted a video to her verified social media account.

Uche Maduagwu responded by declaring that Funke Akindele's announcement as Dr. Olajide Adediran's running mate was preposterously insensitive. This is because, at a time in which Nigerians were practicing social distancing to save lives, Funke hosted a lavish house party without any 'cognitive regard' for safety or the impact of such an act on her fans.

Uche said such acts show that she still has a lot of work to do in her spiritual leadership journey.
