Popular socio-political activist Aisha Yesufu stated that the two major political parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), will need to work together to defeat Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) in the forthcoming presidential elections.

Aisha, co-convener at BringBackOurGirls BBOG, an advocacy group, pointed out that 2023 isn't for large money spenders.

She stated that "at the rate, this is going, it will soon be necessary for PDP to join forces with APC in order for either of them to have any hope of winning!"

Politicians that must spend money to accomplish any task are at the mercy of time. Time is also the enemy of politicians.

According to reports in Nigeria, Peter Obi, the LP candidate is gaining a lot of support from the electorates, particularly the youths.

After many speculations, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba–Ahmed was selected as Obi's running mate.

Irrespective of any amount of forces they join together, Nigerians are tired of both parties
