On Saturday, July 2, Anambra State Police Command arrested Mrs. Onwanna Nnenna "F" age 29 from Nando in Anambra East, for attempted murder at Otu Street, Awada Onitsha.

DSP Ikenga Tochukwu (command spokesperson) stated that preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, Miss Ijeoma Nafo, a 14-year-old native of Achalla Anambra East, was pushed down from a four-storey building by the suspect while she was beating her.

Tochukwu said that the victim was the domestic help of the suspect.

A spokesperson said that the suspect had been taken into custody, and the victim was being treated in hospital.
