According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, (LASEMA), a residence in Ikoyi, Lagos State, was set on fire by a fire crew today, June 15.

Dr. Olufemi Oke Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of LASEMA. He did not confirm if any lives were lost in the inferno or if anyone was hurt in the incident which occurred on the Ilabere Road, Ikoyi. However, LASEMA quickly deployed its response team members to the scene once it was reported.

A LASEMA team is working with the Lagos State Fire Service personnel to put out the flames that appear to be rapidly spreading to adjacent buildings.

The Lagos state emergency management agency, LASEMA has activated its response team for the above location.

LRT Agency and the Lagos State Fire Service have joined forces to put out the fire in a residential area. It appears that the fire is spreading quickly to adjacent properties.
