Kemi Olunloyo (controversial journalist) has suggested that the attack on St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State was a drug war.

She based her opinion on the fact that priests were safe and that no one was taken hostage by attackers who also killed many congregants.

She said that the attack was similar in nature to one which occurred in Ozubulu (Anambra State).
