Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha has berated Pastor Becky Enenche, the wife of Pastor Paul Enenche over her tweet condemning divorce.

In wake of the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, who was a member and choir lead at Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), founded by Paul Enenche, many are attacking the singer’s pastors for playing a role in her death.

An old tweet of the clergyman’s wife resurfaced online where she condemned divorce. This has gotten many talking and they believe this is the reason Osinachi couldn’t divorce her husband.

The Co-Senior Pastor of Dunamis had stated that divorce is not an option at all as it has an adverse effect on the children which can affect them for the rest of their lives.

She opined that majority of wayward children in the society today are products of divorced homes.

“Never make divorce an option at all; the stress you put your children through mya affect them for the rest of their lives. Most wayward or rough children are products of devoiced homes. So shine Ur eyes before U say I do”.

Georgina Onuoha who didn’t agree with her, took to her Instagram page to berate her.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page tackled Pastor Becky’s stance on divorce.

Georgina pointed out how views like this is the reason why many men and women are dying in abusive relationships.

She called for the medical license of the pastor to be revoked.

She wrote, “In a lengthy Instagram post, Georgina Onuoha, who had an entirely different option, tackled the clergywoman’s stance on divorce. Onuoha noted that views like this are the reason most men and women remain in abusive marriages and relationships.

“And to think this woman @drbeckyenenche and her husband are clinicians? Their medical license should be revoked. Sadly Nigeria is a failed state where people who should be protecting lives according to the hippocratic oath are the ones putting lives at risk because they hold megaphones.

Views like this are why many innocent women and men are dying in abusive relationships and marriages. This right here sickens my soul. The perversion of Christianity by the so-called women and men of God is scary. This woman right here should cover her face in shame. And you will still see people defending such rhetoric.

“My dear Ginafam, Leave to live if a woman or man subjects you to emotional, physical, or psychological abuse. There’s nothing Godly about dying in an abusive marriage or relationship. That is definitely not God’s plan for marriage. Nobody needs to die to receive any reward from heaven. It’s sickening how African culture has used religion to subjugate women since 1900”.

Kemi Filani news recalls Deborah Paul Enenche, daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center, on Sunday, April 10 disclosed that her father was not aware of the domestic violence and physical abuse the late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu was been subjected to in her marriage.

Deborah who shared a post on Facebook, revealed that her father has always advocated against unhealthy marriage.

She said “My father has always been an advocate for removing oneself from a deeply unhealthy marriage. It is spread across the fabric of his ministry the clear fact that he has always ensured the weak are protected. It is not different in this situation.”

The pastor’s daughter further revealed that while Osinachi was alive, everything was done to ensure she was removed from her situation and was cared for as much as possible
