Nigerian musician and singer, Oluwaseun Anikulapo Kuti, who is better known by the name, Seun Kuti has raised his voice over the incessant killings in Africa.

The son of late Fela Kuti sternly warned those engaging in rituals to desist from it.
According to him, the killing of Africans for money should be halted.

Seun Kuti expressed his desire to see people standing up against those who engage in money rituals.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote :

“#stopkillingafricansformoney Stop Killing African people period. I really wish we will make this viral and stand up against all the people KILLING AFRICANS FOR MONEY! Miss me with the usual SELECTIVE OUTRAGE”.

In a previous post, the Afrobeat singer stirred mixed reactions when he claimed many rich Nigerians are into rituals.

Seun Kuti questioned which African rich man didn’t kill people for money.



In his words, 99 per cent of the wealth in the country is earned by sacrificing the lives and destinies of millions of Nigerians.

Speaking further, he questioned if it isn’t suspicious that Dangote’s trailer always loses break, or if it’s ordinary that a building collapsed and crushed students to death.

To him, all the calamities befalling the country is due to money ritual.

Lastly, he threw a question at how a hairdresser could turn an oil mogul.

“Don’t do money rituals. Don’t kill people for money. Abeg which African rich man no dey kill people for money?”
