Regina Daniels says Jaruma’s arrest and detention have nothing to do with their fallout last year but that it is on account of false and malicious publications the Kayanmata seller made against Regina’s husband Prince Ned Nwoko.

Jaruma, widely known for her product Kayanmata, is said to have been remanded in Suleja prison custody until today Friday, 28 January when her bail application will be heard. She is reportedly charged with defamation, incitement, intent to ridicule and threat against the person and family of Prince Nwoko, a lawyer and former House of Representatives member.

Regina in a post on Instagram shared private chats between her and Jaruma and mentioned how their contract could not work due to Jaruma’s terms.

“PLS NOTE THE PETITION, ARREST AND THE DETENTION OF JARUMA HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUSINESS DEAL BETWEEN ME AND HER. BUT SIMPLY AROSE FROM THE VARIOUS FALSE AND MALICIOUS PUBLICATIONS AGAINST MY HUSBAND.”
