Nigerian artist Davido on Tuesday trolled his cousin, Dele Adeleke, for daring to contest against his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, in the upcoming Osun state governorship election.

The artist questioned his cousin's "intellectual" ability to run for elected office, saying his relative "had not succeeded in establishing a single item in his life on his own."

"Me I graduated uni with 2:1," Davido tweeted via his official account. However, it is cousin Dele, who battled to even get a 2:2, who is now forming "intellectual."

Senator Ademola announced his candidacy for governor of Osun in the year 2021. On December 11, his nephew expressed interest in running for the same office.

The two People's Democratic Party (PDP) members have now gotten paperwork to run for the party's governorship ticket.

Dele Adeleke said in a recent interview with Channels that the fact that he and his uncle, Mr. Ademola, are related should not prevent him from running for governor. His cousin, Davido, has advised Osun voters to "beware of fakes" since he claimed to be more "qualified" for the post.
